Project Snapshot
Client: Notion | Social Media Product Marketing Creator (Contract)
Created and executed short-form video campaigns for Notion Mail and Notion AI as part of the Campus Creators program. Developed concepts blending trending audio, platform-native storytelling, and real-life productivity use cases to connect with Gen Z and student audiences. Delivered polished, on-brief content that drove measurable engagement while strengthening Notion’s positioning as both a creative and practical productivity tool.
Challenge
Notion wanted to increase adoption among college students for two new product features — Notion AI and Notion Mail — by creating short-form, relatable content that showed how students could integrate the tools into their daily academic workflow. The aim was to build awareness, highlight real use cases, and drive sign-ups during finals season.
Approach
I started by diving into Notion’s Campus Creators brief, making sure I understood exactly who we were speaking to and how Notion wanted to show up on TikTok to college students. From there, I mapped out narratives that would blend platform-native trends with scenarios that actually made students go, “Oh, I could use this in my life.”
Once the concepts felt right, I transitioned into filming and editing: playing with trending sounds, quick cuts, and captions that kept things polished, yet relatable to a Gen Z audience. I wove in real scenarios like studying for finals or preparing for an internship so the features didn’t just look good, they felt useful.
After posting, I experimented with different hooks, captions, and thumbnails to see what would grab attention fastest, and timed releases for when my audience was most active. By the end, the content didn’t just check off the campaign goals — it genuinely connected with viewers and sparked conversations about how they could make Notion their own.
